1. Definitions

4. Eligibility & Account Use

India-Chat.org is an adult platform. You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service. We reserve the right to terminate access for any user we believe to be under 18, without notice or refund (the Platform is free, so no refund applies).

You may choose a nickname freely. However, you may not use nicknames that:

• Impersonate another person, moderator, or staff member
• Are deceptive, offensive, or contain profanity
• Include trademarked brand names without authorization

5. Acceptable Use

The Platform may only be used for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. You are solely responsible for all Content you submit and must ensure it does not:

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Disrupting, flooding, or degrading the performance of chat channels
• Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban or restriction
• Using automated bots, scripts, or scrapers without explicit written permission
• Collecting or harvesting personal information about other users without their consent
• Sharing another person's private information (doxxing)

6. User Content & License

You retain ownership of any original content you submit. By submitting content to India-Chat.org, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and display that content as necessary to operate the Platform.

You represent and warrant that your content does not violate any third-party rights and that you have the right to grant this license. We are not responsible for user-generated content and do not endorse any views expressed by users.

7. Moderation Policy

India-Chat.org relies on volunteer moderators to maintain community standards. Moderators have sole discretion to:

• Warn, mute, kick, or permanently ban users who violate these Terms
• Remove any content deemed harmful, offensive, or in violation of community rules
• Cooperate with law enforcement and provide records when required by law

Moderation decisions are final. You may appeal a ban decision by emailing admin@india-chat.org. We are not obligated to reverse any moderation decision.

8. Third-Party Services

Our chat functionality is delivered through a third-party IRC network embedded on our site. Your use of the embedded chat service is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy. India-Chat.org is not responsible for the availability, content, or data practices of the IRC service provider.

Links to external websites shared by users in chat rooms are not endorsed by us. We accept no responsibility for the content or safety of external websites.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

India-Chat.org is provided on an "AS IS" basis. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Guarantees of uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access to the Platform
• Guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of user content
• Assurances that the Platform will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, India-Chat.org, its operators, moderators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
